Nature Shows Us How to Be in the Moment

Nature is rarely still. Witness the waves of pampas grass, always on the move thanks to a gentle summer breeze. Our moments, our thoughts, our experiences and our time on earth, like nature, are fleeting, ever-moving. Being in the moment is a nirvana we try to attain and rarely achieve. With practice, though, it will come. For it’s our gift to ourselves to be in each moment we have, not wishing it away until some future moment, and not whiling it away with yearning for some past moment.

Enjoy the moment, because it’s the only moment you have, at the moment.    Tweet: Enjoy the moment, because it's the only moment you have, at the moment. http://ctt.ec/2I92O+ #zen #mantras

You’ll find more fleeting moments like this in my Naturescapes.

What’s your mantra for being in the moment?
