A Collection of Distortions

“It’s good to have certain restrictions sometimes, but it’s definitely more fun to play really loud, with distortion.”

J Mascis

Do you like your reflections hazy, indistinct, their edges running amok like sunnyside-up eggs when they first hit the pan? Before you answer, take in yesterday’s “A Collection of Reflections to compare these distorted refractions of pattern to some very distinct and crystal-clear mirror image reflections. Then you’ll be able to respond a bit more clearly about distortions.

Are you a fan of crystal-clear mirror images like these? (Have you ever been told you have OCD?)

Or do you prefer the indiscretion of these distorted reflections? (Has anyone ever suggested you’re disorganized)?

More evidence that I enjoy capturing patterns, light and reflections can be seen HERE in my Lightscapes series. To order prints, starting from $45, contact me.

  1. Jann, I especially like the abstract quality of the Oil & Water and Watercolor Colors photos. They are a bit like Mother Nature’s neon signs in way.
