Cast shadows beguile me, and none are as ubiquitous around the planet as those made by Venetian blinds. Match up a strong western sun with a pair of two-inch blinds, and their overlay of shadows on any subject will make its photograph seem more memorable.
Consider this image, won’t you, as cover art for my as yet-to-be-published coffee table book, Looking for Shadows—and in my longtime role as a designer, I’ve been careful to leave space for the splashy title and byline that will ensure you’ll buy my book. Thanks in advance. ♣

Lovely! Shadows from window blinds also always draw my attention.

Thank you. Shadows draw me, period, in relief with light. Seems we both feel the same about that.
