“There’s a lot to like about photography. But the thing I like best about photography is that there’s always another photo.”

When I take a walk, I keep my iPhone handy.

Because there’s a picture waiting for me here, there and . . .

Around the bend, everywhere I look. ♣

I’m always striving to get the photo to come up to what I can see with my eyes. 🙂

That’s interesting, Wendy—on the other hand, I’m always curious to see how much more vividly or exuberantly the photograph makes the view my eyes can see, especially on sunny days when I feel I’m shooting blind with my iPhone. Admittedly, my eyesight is more limited than my camera’s. Thank you so much for commenting.

You have to love that quote. Really nice pictures as well, I really like the opportunist picture, the flowers just pop out at you.

So glad you like my quote, Ben! As a prolific photographer yourself, I know you feel the same way. Thanks for commenting.

Laurels: That is amazing bee placement. How did you get the bee to cooperate in such a lovely picture?

Some bees are just more cooperative than others.

Exactly, Rona! That’s why I love it, too. There’s an intensity shift. Gets me out of my head. Thanks for adding to the discussion.

I don’t have an iPhone but I love clicking anything with my mobile camera. At times I understand I’m making a fool of myself but…who cares. 🙂

I’d wager you’re not being as foolish as chronic texters . . . glad to hear you carry on with abandon, despite your concerns! Happy shooting!

Each of your captures has its own dramatic effect. From the yellow small flowers reaching to the sun to the succulents about to flowers. Your set is an example of nature’s wonders that are so varied and so alluring. Happy Photo Challenge.

I really like the background for the quote (and the quote.) Although I like all the others, I have to go with the cactus shot as my favorite this week. I also take my camera everywhere…and sometimes I take my Nikon, too. 🙂

Thanks, Janet, and sometimes I take one of my Canons . . . but my iPhone is always in my purse or pocket, and thankfully it can really do the trick. We are kindred spirits!

Great post – I love seeing unexpected things after I take the picture, especially if I was aiming for something in particular and that doesn’t happen. I love it because it forces me to look at things differently as well. My iPhone is always with me – and is my only camera at this point, but it does pretty well…

The unexpected things are what I’ve come to love about iPhone photography too, Joy! Glad to hear from you. Thanks.
