“Life is in infinite motion; at the same time it is motionless.”
―Debasish Mridha
The only moment these koi—awaiting fish food in a Houston, Texas hotel pond—were motionless was when my iPhone’s camera shutter closed for one split second, and recorded the frenzy of their continuous motion. ♠
The iPhone excels at capturing motion; for more iPhonography tips and tricks, go HERE. Take at look at more of my photographs, some with motion, some without, at my Naturescapes Shop. Visit my Lightscapes to see more photographs where light and shadow etch a pattern.

Those koi have developed the art of the beady-eyed stare. Glad you visited and commented, thanks!

LOL… Is it strange that I find those beady eyes adorable… =P Perhaps it’s because we used to keep Koi in my garden pond.
