How To Celebrate The Holidays Like A Texan

Some Texans love their boots so much, they light them up at Christmastime. Or anytime.

In Texas, even pigs deserve some special Christmas trimmings. Especially yard pigs.

And Christmas trees in Texas can be indoors or out, conifer or cactus.

  1. Very nice to see how Christmas is done in Texas. That pig certainly looks dolled up for the occasion. I am sure it doesn’t mind…in fact, he looks like he is enjoying his outfit 🙂 I hope you have yummy sweet treats to enjoy yourself, too. It is all part of the sharing and fun of the season. Here in Melbourne, Australia, so many are still out doing Christmas shopping. I’m glad to be done for the year and can put my feet up and enjoy the rest of the year. Merry Christmas and best wishes 🙂

    1. Good for you! Feet up and enjoy, that’s the way to do the holidays. So many don’t…and it just gets so frantic. Thanks for visiting and letting me know. Heading over to Melbourne now to see how it’s done there…

  2. Best wishes right back at you, Jann, from chilly Illinois, where my cowboy boots are residing in the closet and my hiking and winter boots are only decorated with snow.
