My Maine Muse
The muse that floats my boat strikes once each July from a Maine cabin where I spend time with good friends, and its view of the Casco Bay is as alluring as the lobster catch that arrives each afternoon. Over the years, the light has played on the water in many variations, and the sun has set many ways, but the view from the cabin porch has never once not astonished and the neighbor’s lobster boat, the Kristi II, has always been a willing subject.
You can read more about Maine, from Maine, HERE . . . but any scene where the light beckons acts as a muse to my shutter-clicking finger. Visit my Lightscapes series to see more photographs where light and shadow etch a pattern. ♣
The ocean off Maine is certainly the place where light has a field day!
What a charming way to put it, Lynn, thanks!
Maine is a beautiful place all right, Jann, as your photos show. I think, however, you meant lobstah boat! 🙂

Love the title, BTW. Reminds me of mine today.
Lovely serene place to rejuvenate. Enjoy every moment.
