Walking through the Maine woods on a rainy day . . .
I encountered a fallen tree and looked inside . . .
And saw that where nature’s concerned, new life will overtake what’s died . . .
And that looking closely at what’s not so obvious always rewards the observer 
. . . Especially the observer whose iPhone is handy.

Thanks. Makes it work getting soaked, shooting in the rain! Harsh shadows are nonexistent, colors are so saturated, details so fine.
