Do Bad Things Always Come In Threes?
It’s no secret that bad things come in threes. If you step off the sidewalk and get slammed by a bus, you’d better be on the lookout for the next two things. Once they do happen, you can sigh in relief. That trio of bad things is over.
That’s when it’s time for the best things in life to come, again in threes. Say you’re driving along Route 66 in 1938, and you just crossed the Oklahoma state line into Texas, and your Nash Coupe is about to run out of gas. You’ll be delighted to pull into this Magnolia gas station in Shamrock, Texas, where you can take your pick from the trio of pumps ready to serve. ♣

$3.33 per gallon?
A great photo and solution to today’s challenge.

.33 per gallon more likely Allan 😉
I remember when gas would go down to $.25 during a gas war. I was driving a VW Super Beetle in those days, so I didn’t have to fill up very often. 🙂 Love the photo, Jann.

And we think it’s awesome to find gas under $2.00 a gallon today…thanks for visiting, Janet!
It just dipped into the mid-$1.90’s here and we’re loving it. Have a great Thanksgiving.
Wonderful choice!
Thanks, Tina!
